This blog is a combination of my own work and other things that catch my eye. I am a spoken word poet at heart, but I also write "paper" poems, play saxophone, piano, guitar, football, and like to sing. I was born on leap day, am part-color blind, and spent 19 years trying to figure out what the hell to do with myself. Scratch that. Still trying.

not so much a question. I wanted to let you know, I'm currently enrolled in university as an english major, earlier in the week my prof had us bring in a poem that touched, moved, inspired, frightened, or interested us. I brought in The Emotive. Not just because your words are not but mere words but because your story is brilliant. Your lines, your imagination. My favorite line being: You make me want to dance. Thank you for waking me up again, I had been asleep for too long.. - openupyoureyesnow
